Program Description
The programme is offered by the Concordia International University. The diploma programme is focused
towards understanding the practices in the creative industry. The innovations taking place in the media
industry are touched upon. The film and television practices are looked at and every criterion within that
are studied. The journalism and the contemporary issues taking place in the media are covered through the
diploma. The learners will build up an attention to the key advances related with web and application
improvement. Students will have an awareness of motion graphics principles, be able to prepare a motion
graphics proposal, produce a motion graphics outcome, use presentation methods and evaluate their
practice. The planning and presentation of storyboards are addressed through the diploma. Further, the
interview and the presentation skills are studied addressing the different purposes. Studies on technological
aspects of audio recording are also looked at in the diploma. A research element within the media studies
covering all the knowledge attained will be tested.

Upon successful completion of this programme the learners are allowed to progress towards the Higher
Diploma in Media Studies and move directly into an employment in an associated profession.
